Youth FAQ's

WHEN ARE THE YOUTH TRIALS?

Youth trials are held in February. The specific dates will be issued onto the relevant grade page and on the Youth homepage.

WHO HAS TO ATTEND THE TRAILS

All Youth players can attend trials, but they are for players wanting to play in an Auckland League, not the club inhouse league. Grades 10/11/12/13/14 boys, 10/11/12 girls have the In-house league teams which are designed for players that wish to just play with their friends. However, it doesn't mean they can't trial, as it is good pre-season training.  All 15th (boys) 13th (girls) grades up should attend trials.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE MISS ONE, CAN WE COME TO ANOTHER?

If you can't attend one, please contact the grade coordinator and let them know. The more trials you attend, the better your chances of making a higher team. Some players may be asked not to trial as we already know their standard, and it helps us reduce numbers making the selection process more accurate.

cAN WE GET A refund IF WE DECIDE NOT TO PLAY?

Refunds attract a 25% deduction to cover service and other non-refundable fees incurred to Eastern Suburbs. No refunds after May 1st.
