Grade Coordinator

Who

Girls born in 1998. 

Where and when

Club representative competition playing across Auckland.

All home games are at Madill's Farm, Glover Park or Crossfields Reserve.

Kick-off time is dependant on ground availability, but is usually on Saturday at 11am or 12 noon.

How

• The teams play on a full-sized pitch.

• Games are 27.5 minutes each way with a 5 minute half-time. 

• Offside rule is played. 

• The club does not tolerate dirty play or poor sports - this includes parents and supporters. 

Teams

Each team has 11 players and reserves.  

The coaches for all teams will be in touch with times for trainings

Season The club rep (Auckland Football Federation) teams begin play on 17 April. There will be games on the last Saturday of the July school holidays. The season finishes at the end of August

Coaching

Each team coach decides on the training night after liaising with the team.  

Uniforms

Players need their own shirt boots yellow shorts yellow socks shin pads (all players must wear shin pads) All available from Champs Sports, Panmure. Remember to ask for your Club members discount.

Parental involvement

• Each team needs a coach and a manager. 

• Someone from each team needs to referee 1/2 a game.

• When playing at a home ground each team is to put up and take down the goals and nets.

Cost

• $220 for the season

• Enrol online and enter the draw to have your fees refunded

Representatives

In the past Eastern Suburbs has been very strong in representative football with many girls being selected for Auckland Football Federation (Auckland) sides.  Each child has the opportunity to be selected (if nominated by the coach) which involves additional training and an extended season.
