General Questions

Is there a family discount?

Yes, on the registration fee. From the third playing member (including the third) the registration fee is discounted by $70 per player.

I have just moved into the area and want to join the club. What do I do?

Go to the "Grade info" drop down menu on the homepage. Click on the relevant grade for the person you are finding information for. Read that page and then register. If it is during the season it may pay to contact the grade coordinator of the grade, their number is on that page or on the club directory.

Do I have to register again as I registered last year?

Yes, everyone has to re-register. This can be done quickly through the members login area using your username and password from the previous season (quick link on the right hand side of the homepage) where you will need to confirm the accuracy of your details. If you can't remember your username and password, just click onto "I have forgotten my username and password". Please note, this will then be sent to the email address your originally registered with.

How do I change my personal details on Clubhub?

This can be done quickly through the members login area using your username and password (quick link on the right hand side of the homepage) Click on "my personal details". If you can't remember your username and password, just click onto "I have forgotten my username and password". Please note, this will then be sent to the email address your originally registered with.

How do I contact the rest of my team members?

This can be done quickly through the members login area using your username and password (quick link on the right hand side of the homepage) Click on "contact"and the choose option "team members". If you can't remember your username and password, just click onto "I have forgotten my username and password". Please note, this will then be sent to the email address your originally registered with.

How do we find out if a match is cancelled?

Juniors phone 083 221 479 after 7.00am on the morning of the game. Youth listen to 1ZB cancellations or view the AFF Website. Also the Youth cancellation line is often up to date although this is more accurate for training. Seniors check out the AFF Website

How do I make a payment?

This can be done quickly through the members login area (quick link on the right hand side of the homepage) click on "tasks" then "payments". This will enable you to make a credit card payment (visa and mastercard). You may also pay this account by Internet banking. Please deposit $amount to 01-0262-0050219-00, enter Eastern Suburbs AFC in the Payee Name field, and enter your identifier (example)CH-00190240 in the Particulars field.This number is unique to your payment and is available on the payment page. If you do not enter the identifier, it will be impossible for the Club to match your payment and you may receive payment reminders for some time.

Why does my account still show I owe money when I’ve already paid by cheque?

 Cheques can take up to 10 days to make there way through our system and the banking system. We would far prefer you to pay by credit card or through Internet banking

How do I get a refund?

Contact the office on email. Refunds attract a 25% deduction to cover service and other non-refundable fees incurred to Eastern Suburbs. No refunds after May 1st. Refunds will be given to those that we are unable to accomodate into a team.

How do I remove our contact details from Clubhub?

This can be done quickly through the members login area (quick link on the right hand side of the homepage) click on tasks, and "update personal details. Remove your email address. Please note, this will prevent you from recieving any information from the club, including items which may be important to you.

When is the last day of Soccer?

Juniors are the 2nd of September. Youth and Seniors are subject to the number of cancellations during the season. Expect games to be scheduled until the last week of August.

Where do we play?

Home Games. Juniors all games are played at Madills Farm. Youth all games are played at either Glover Park, Madills Farm or Crossfield Reserve. All Senior games are Played at either Madills Farm or Crossfield Reserve. Maps and directions can be found on the "Match Info" on the homepage.

Why are the fees so expensive and we getting nothing for it?

There are many hidden costs associated with running a football club. With 2400 players we have to have paid administration and finance staff, as well as coaching staff. We pay levies to AFF (AK football) and NZF (NZ Football). We pay ground charges, maintain the clubrooms, run phones, pay for the database program, purchase playing and coaching equipment. The subscriptions that members paid in the 2010 season were 56.7% of the clubs total income. In 2011 they were 40%. In 2012 they were down to 34.9%. They are now below 27%. Where do we buy the uniform from?

From the club online. Go to the members login area on the homepage and input your username and password. You are also able to visit the club shop at Madils Farm from 4-5pm on weekdays. Apparel is also available from Players Sports, 14 Melrose St, Newmarket. ph 0800522817
