We hope you'll be one of them!

This year we are establishing the Friends of Eastern Suburbs and we'd love you to join. Many of you are familiar with the concept through your schools and we see the Friends of Eastern Suburbs working much the same way.

The objective is to provide a "link" between the members and players, and the club management. "Friends" will offer some fun activities for the kids and adults alike and help with vital fundraising for the club.

We have lots of great ideas for "Friends". On Saturday mornings for example "Friends" has established a "Kidz Space" in the clubrooms, available to children between games, when they don't want to be on the sidelines watching their siblings or better still while you are enjoying a before or after match coffee. "Kidz Space" has been up and running since the start of the season and is proving immensely popular. Please note, whilst there is a Kidz Space hostess, you remain responsible for your child.

On 11 May 07, Friends hosted its first event. "The International Whiskey Experience" was a great success. Expert Nigel Kelly traversed, in a light hearted yet informative manner the 3 main whiskey producing nations - namely Ireland, Scotland and the USA. We tasted 6 whiskeys and went home with a warm glow! Soon, we'll be organizing a disco night for the kids at the clubrooms, and a "Quiz Nite" for the adults is also in the planning for July. We will be in touch with more details closer to the time.

For Friends of Eastern Suburbs to be a success all we need is your encouragement, and occasionally a few volunteers to help out with our fun activities.

Membership is easy!
Becoming a friend of Eastern Suburbs is very simple. You can either:

2. Simply print off and complete the Application Form and place it in the box at Kidz Space in the clubrooms, or, post it to Friends of Eastern Suburbs PO
